The Surveyor is mounted atop a stand made form a vintage agricultural auger.  Ravens hold a place in stories from numerous cultures.  In the story of Noah and the Ark, a Raven is the first bird to be released from the Ark after the flood (never to return).  This is where the Surveyor got it's name. This life size Raven sculpture measures 22" long, 23" tall, and 8" wide.  This sculpture is made with recycled pieces including; bicycle parts, saw blades, machine parts, agricultural equipment, stainless silverware, and other various hardware.  The rusted pieces of metal were darkened with a black patina and the sculpture is top coated with an enamel finish suitable for indoor display.
