Never Look Back is my rendition of a shoulder mounted Mule Deer Buck.  Hunters will say that the Mule Deer's fatal flaw is that it frequently stops, and looks back, when it fleeing danger (many time providing a hunter with a shot opportunity).  The name seemed ironically fitting.  This large wall hanging piece is made with a number of pieces selected for their color and patina.  All of the painted or colored items were found that way with no extra colors (paint) added.  Some notable pieces include bicycle rims in the antlers, saw blades and shovels in the body, door hinges, horse shoes, and expanded steel, and other various components.  This piece will hang from a heavy lag bolt or hook mounted to a wall stud or sturdy vertical surface, it weighs roughly 75 lbs.  (antlers are removable for ease of shipping and mounting on the wall)  Overall dimensions as displayed on the wall are 47" tall, 32" wide and 30" deep. The antlers have an inside spread of roughly 25".  The sculpture has an oiled finish to preserve it's color and appearance when displayed indoors.  It will be crated for shipping and may require truck freight, shipping within the lower 48 states is included in purchase.
