A common House Sparrow, perched atop a vintage door knob.  'Jack Sparrow' was an opportunity to take one of the most overlooked birds, many times a nuisance, and focus on it's fine features and beauty.  This wall hanging piece is mounted on a piece of salvaged hardwood and mounted on a vintage door knob plate.  The bird is life sized with the overall sculpture being 12" tall, 6.5" wide and 5" deep.  The Sparrow is made with pieces of scrap steel, stainless silverware, and other discarded items.   This piece has an oiled finish suitable for indoor display.
