Jack Hammer is a true to life size rendition of the Pileated Woodpecker.  The piece is made with materials selected for their color and texture.  Made to be displayed as a wall hanging the dimensions are 19" tall, 8" wide, and 6.5" deep.  Parts used in construction include old hand tools, saw blades, metal from a trailer fender, part of a barn door trolly rail, automotive parts, silverware, and other various scrap.  The sculpture has an oiled finish that will protect the appearance when displayed indoors.
