A large praying mantis made from recycled materials.  Green patina metal from an electrical box was salvaged for the wing covers and upper body cover.  Other pieces in the construction consist of miscellaneous nuts and bolts, bicycle parts, ball bearings, stainless silverware, typewriter parts, bicycle parts, and scrap steel rod.  This piece measures 17" long, 11" wide, and 8" tall.  It's head swivels on a threaded stud and has an oiled finish to preserve it's appearance when displayed indoors.
