A large praying mantis made from recycled materials.  Blackened rusty/ green metal was salvaged for the wing covers and upper body cover.  Other pieces in the construction consist of miscellaneous nuts and bolts, bicycle parts, ball bearings, stainless silverware, typewriter parts, bicycle parts, and scrap steel rod.  This piece measures 17" long, 11" wide, and 10" tall.  It's head swivels on a threaded stud and has an oiled finish to preserve it's appearance when displayed indoors.
